Job Summary:
Seeking a creative, well-organized, and self-motivated individual to join our team!
The Interior Design Admin/Sales Associate will work directly with our Interior Designers and Clients to establish and execute a creative plan for the needs and desires of the project. The position will also be expected to assist in the development of showroom displays, furnishings, accent pieces etc. to keep the showroom creative and fresh.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with and assist our Interior Designers with the following:
- Design selections
- Creating professional boards and presentations via PowerPoint or similar software
- Procurement of project samples
- Client and project organization
- Pricing and estimates to ensure cost-efficient projects
- Other design-related tasks
- Potential in-home and Regular in-store Consultations to assist walk-in customers and clients with their furniture and décor selections.
- Work directly with manufacturers that have relationships with to ensure a smooth ordering and delivery process.
- Create customer job quotes and invoices once the client or designer has completed the selections.
- Addresses customer/client needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
- Greet and welcome Walk-In Customers into the showroom and assist them with in-store selections and purchases as needed.
- Assist in creatively rotating floor displays and vignettes to attract positive attention from customers, as needed.
- Assist in keeping the showroom organized with pricing, tagging, etc., to ensure that the store always looks clean and inviting, as needed.
- Confirm daily sales reports and cash receipts as needed.
- Uses company software to research, analyze, order, and track purchases.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Organized and creative, with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software and PowerPoint
- Works well under pressure with deadlines, ability to multitask.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma. Additional coursework in Interior Design is helpful, but not required.
- Experience with home décor or furnishings is an asset.
- At least 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work Saturdays.
