We are a furniture, accessory, gift, and interior design showroom specializing in the latest styles and colors in décor.
How could you help us create this experience?
We are looking for an inventory control specialist to assist us in maintaining our inventory of furnishings, décor, and accessories. This role assists with ordering and procuring our clients furnishings, receiving the products, and ensuring all items are accounted for documented and appropriate records are up to date of all in house inventory.
Some of the kind of work we would see this role fulfill includes the following:
Manages and maintains an up-to-date stock of inventory, receiving, tagging, and organizing the inventory upon arrival
Prepares and monitors detailed location specifications for all incoming stock
Prepares and maintains daily logs of incoming goods and shipments and catalog’s locations
Using computerized systems, manages the inventory control of all incoming and outgoing products
Runs computerized reporting to ensure ordering of products in need of replenishment and recurring delivery items are readily available
Works with computerized inventory control systems to ensure database and software is current, up to date and provides the appropriate reporting needed
Provides current up to date reporting of inventory in warehouse to management
Facilitates and fosters positive working relationships with vendors, clients, as well as delivery and install team members
Conducts scheduled audits of physical inventory annually and periodically as needed
Physically receives incoming goods off trucks and manages the warehousing of all incoming goods
Works with incoming deliveries using pallet lift when needed
Performs other duties as assigned more importantly a team player and someone with the ability to have fun at work!

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with warehouse team, purchasing and outside vendors.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
Ability to work with ease with computerized systems
Organized and able to work independently
Basic math skills in terms of cost of goods and inventory management
Able to work sitting at a desk on computer for prolonged periods of time
Able to lift to 50 pounds at a time
Able to navigate a warehouse and reach items both high and low
